Materials: found glass, salvaged pine stump, chrome feet

​

This glass stump coffee table is made from a salvaged pine stump and found glass top. The surface of the glass top has been freehand etched, featuring a branch design (minor scratches remain in the glass due to its found origin). The stump has been sanded and finished with danish oil. New chrome feet have been added to give height. Glass top has rubber bumpers underneath to prevent scratching and for stability. Serves as a great statement piece.

Coffee and side tables are made from reclaimed wood, repurposed found objects, materials and vintage items. They tend to have one or more of the following features:

​

• easy to assemble

• mobile (castors)

• incorporates ambient lighting (either candlelight, or LEDs)

• versatile/modular (can be transformed to serve a different purpose)

• a mix of materials (wood, metal, glass, etc)

• little to no new materials and waste

• aesthetically pleasing and one-of-a-kind

 

Custom orders can be made for any table or table top (dining tables as well).

Coffee + Side Tables

Summer Pallet

Materials: maple pallet, metal grate, castors


​This reclaimed pallet coffee table is made from an old maple pallet and found rusted metal grate. Wood has been refinished and resined to fill cracks and smooth out table top. Metal grate has also been resined to preserve rust. Castors have been added for mobility and the two layers can be separated for easy transport. Optional LED lights fit behind metal grate. Suitable for home or commercial use.

Cinder Lights

Materials: reclaimed pine wood, cinder blocks

This reclaimed coffee table is made from pine wood salvaged from an old picnic table and repurposed cinder blocks. Wood has been sanded and refinished with antique danish oil. Still has original markings and screws on its surface to create a rustic feel. Cinder blocks also serves as tealight candle holders to provide ambient mood lighting.

Traveller

Materials: vintage suitcase, wood pedestal

​

This suitcase table is the marrying of two found objects: a vintage suitcase and a wood pedestal. Suitcase has been cleaned and given a protective finish while still maintaining original marks and a vintage look and feel. Suitcase lining has been stained black and pedestal has been refinished with a light walnut stain and antique danish oil. This suitcase table can be adjusted to serve as a tall hall table or a low side table.

Success Stump

Built: 2010

Materials: reclaimed stump, citrine crystal​

​

This stump side table is made from a reclaimed stump and a citrine crystal. The stump has been debarked, sanded, and finished with a varnish. A citrine crystal is wedged into a slight crack all along one side of the stump. Citrine is known as the success stone and brings prosperity, fortune and luck. Rustic yet modern, a suitable piece for any home and perfect for the superstitious.

Side Stump

Materials: salvaged stump, stainless steel cabinet handles

​

This stump side table is made from a salvaged stump and stainless steel cabinet handles repurposed as legs. The stump has been sanded on top and finished with danish oil, except for the bark, which has been left unfinished to create a nice contrast between the two. New stainless steel cabinet handles have be repurposed as legs to give it a sleeker feel. A one of a kind piece that would make a great addition to any space.

This stump side stable with bark is part of a new collection of bark pieces, created specifically for an exhibit in January 2014.

Sculpted Maple Table

Materials: found decayed half stump, glass, stainless steel

This one-of-a-kind Sculpted Maple Table is made from a decaying piece of maple with bark and worm holes. It has been carved and smoothed into a half curve with repurposed stainless steel cabinet handles as legs and an upcycled piece of glass for the top. The inside is coated with resin to mimick the look of sap while the bark is left unfinished for a textured raw look. Makes a great coffee or side table and a beautiful show piece in any home.

 

This one-of-a-kind sculpted maple table is part of a new collection of bark pieces, created specifically for an exhibit in January 2014.
